  • Cocktail glass
  • Coktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Small plate

Ingredients
  

  • 50 ml of Tequila - whichever brand you enjoy
  • 20 ml of Triple sec or orange liqueur such as Cointreau
  • 20 ml of Agave syrup
  • 20 ml of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice - loads and loads of ice - crushed works best
  • Kosher salt for the glass rim
  • Lime wedges x 2 - optional for garnishing

Instructions
 

Mixing instructions for Margarita cocktail with Kosher salt rim

  • Sprinkle the salt onto a small plate
  • Rub one of the lime wedges around the rim of the glass
  • Press the glass gently into the salt to ensure an even coating around the whole of the rim
  • In a cocktail shaker combine the ice, tequila, triple sec
  • Secure and shake vigorously for 20 seconds
  • Place fresh ice into your selected glass
  • Using the strainer pour the mix into the glass taking care not to pour over the salt rim
  • Garnish with the remaining lime wedge and serve
